# Campaigns

> UI is the source of truth for campaign definition.

Campaigns (script, phone, schedule, concurrency, follow-up templates, start/pause) are created and managed in the **dashboard**.

For Public API integrations, create an **API / Custom CRM** ingest campaign, start it, then push every contact with `POST /api/v1/leads`.

Empty API campaigns stay **active** with zero contacts — they do not auto-complete on an empty queue.
